On Tuesday afternoon the year 6 choir visited Skylark House to bring a little Christmas joy.
The year 6 girls had a wonderful afternoon at the Millias rugby festival. The girls engaged in fun skills based stations, before playing tag rugby matches against other schools.
Some pupils in Year 2 had the opportunity to participate in a multi-skills festival at The Bridge on Tuesday 14th November. The aim of the festival was to try a range of team sports and have fun.
As part of their history topic, Year 5 received a visit from the Royal British Legion this week. The children had an interesting talk complete with artefacts and learnt more about the world wars, including why we remember them.
On Tuesday, we had a visit from Jodie and Emily from the Dog’s Trust. They held assemblies teaching us how to approach dogs safely, and what to do if a dog approaches us when we are not expecting it.
Reception pupils regularly visit our lovely conservation area to take their learning outside.
Year 3 children had a great week learning about shadows, which helped prepare them for their own puppet shows.
