Last Friday, Year 5 visited Newhaven Fort as part of their History topic about World War I and II.
The first snow of the winter on Wednesday was very exciting!
Anti Bullying week – This year’s theme was Power for Good. On Monday, we took part in Odd Socks day to celebrate that we are all different.
Y1 had a wonderful day at Hever Castle this week.
After half term, we will be offering pupils the opportunity to purchase a poppy for Remembrance Sunday. Poppies and other Royal British Legion merchandise will be on sale.
Year 5 made poppies using felt in art this week, these will form the basis of a display for Remembrance Day.
Thank you for your generous donations to our Harvest Festival this week – 280kg was collected by our School Council reps.
It's been a very busy week here at Holbrook!
Year 6 had an unforgettable week at Bowles, where they threw themselves into exciting challenges like skiing, kayaking, climbing, orienteering and so much more.
As well as ensuring that we have a broad and balanced curriculum that is enriched by meaningful, motivating and memorable experiences, we also teach the children how to learn. These learning skills are the positive
