On Tuesday the children enjoyed a visit from the author M.P Robertson with a special assembly and workshops based around his wonderful stories and illustrations.
The children have enjoyed World Book Week and seeing parents in school to share their reading (in EYFS and Key Stage 1) and poetry performances (in Key Stage 2).
On Tuesday, a mixed group of Year 3&4 students attended a tag rugby festival at Horsham Rugby Club.
It was a very wet and muddy day at Christs Hospital for the cross-country event.
Pupils in Year 2 had an exciting time exploring Polar regions on their polar expedition this week. As you can see they dressed accordingly and used the binoculars they made to spot a variety of animals.
Today we celebrated NSPCC’s Number Day. There were some great numerical ideas on show for our ‘Dress up for digits’ theme and the children enjoyed a variety of maths puzzles, games and challenges
Our fabulous choir took part in an amazing experience on Friday, where they joined a children’s choir consisting of over 8,000 children!
This week, children at Holbrook used the wonderful story ‘The Dot’ by Peter H Reynolds as inspiration for a collaborative art mural all about the importance of Growth Mindset.
There was great excitement on Monday at the first snowfall of the year.
