Yesterday the Studio was transformed into a French café by Ms Duo and Mrs Thompson. Year 5 pupils had the chance to cook their own crepe, as well as practise their French to order pastries and drinks in this immersive experience.
We say goodbye and good luck to all our wonderful Year 6 children as they move on to the next stage of their educational journey. We thank them for their commitment, hard work and positive contribution to life at Holbrook throughout the year.
We thoroughly enjoyed taking part in the 2026 Horsham Children’s Parade. Our walking float was inspired by magic and featured a white rabbit appearing from a giant top hat!
Our Year 6 pupils recently took part in a rounders tournament, run by the Millais sports leaders
Year 6 pupils learnt practical skills and how to cycle on today’s roads, under the direction of the West Sussex ‘Bikeability’ instructors.
It was wonderful to welcome so many parents and carers to our annual Sports Day - thank you for joining us and supporting the children.
On Wednesday, our Reception class dodged the rain to enjoy a fun-filled day at Washbrooks Farm.
Our dodgeball team travelled to Twickenham on Thursday to compete in the regional finals, following their fantastic success in winning the county finals last term.

Next week is National Walk to School Week. Our school is celebrating it by encouraging children to walk, scoot, cycle or park and stride to school. The children have made the posters above to promote it.
This week we welcomed Carrie Cort from Sussex Green Living, who delivered an assembly about Hedgehogs to the whole school.
We are incredibly proud of our children who took part in the London Mini Marathon- Well done to everyone involved — you were amazing!
