Achievement 2016

Following the DfE decision to remove levels the achievement measure for primary schools was changed. From July 2016 attainment is now judged by a scaled score and expected progress is now 0.

*Nationally, Writing results varied considerably between local authorities due to inconsistencies with moderation.

KS2 data 2016-17

As a result of the new, more challenging curriculum for Reading, Writing, GPS and Maths there was a significant drop in the percentage of pupils meeting the expected requirements nationally.  We were pleased that Holbrook pupils achieved above national and local expectations in Reading, Writing and Maths combined and in Reading and Grammar, Punctuation and Spelling a greater percentage of our pupils reached the higher level of attainment than pupils nationally.

Expected Progress 2013-15

As you can see from the results there was a 3 year upward trend in the number of pupils achieving expected progress.  We were pleased that 100% of pupils achieved this in Reading and Maths and that our results were above local and national averages.

Better than expected progress 2013-15

Again the results show a 3 year upward trend in the number of pupils achieving better than expected progress.  We were especially pleased that our focus on maths and challenging pupils reaped very positive results and that our results were above local and national averages.

Value Added Progress 2013-15

The Value Added Progress measures progress between KS1 and KS2.  The data also indicates a 3 year upward trend as a result of our drive to improve attainment and progress.  Consequently, we were very pleased that Holbrook improved its overall percentile ranking from 80% to 39%.
