Academic Achievement 2017

We are very proud of our achievements in raising standards across the school over the last year.  As you can see from the tables below, our pupils have achieved notable successes this year with many of the results (attainment and progress) being above the national averages.

Whilst we want all of our pupils to be highly skilled in the core subjects of English and Maths, we are able to balance this with a broad and balanced curriculum that is underpinned by meaningful and memorable experiences.

Key Stage 2

We were very pleased that Holbrook pupils attained above national expectations in all 3 tested subjects and our Reading results place us in the top 20% of schools nationally.  Progress in Reading was also very strong, whilst progress in Maths was above national expectations.  The improvement in the number of pupils achieving greater depth this year was another area that we are proud of and evidence of challenge for our most able pupils.

Early Years Foundation Stage

We are delighted that our EYFS results are significantly above national and locality averages and illustrate how Holbrook children benefit from a strong start to their school career.   The results have improved year upon year since 2015 and are set alongside the national averages as a comparison.
